Due to increased demand in the business, Jet Washing Services have a vacancy for a trainee operator to join our team.

The role is to train and progress to a operator using high pressure cleaning systems, water fed pole systems and associated equipment on hard surface areas such as brickwork & stonework, steel &  cladding, roofs and gutter vacuum systems.

​

As a candidate you must be confident to work at height working with our MEWP access platforms, mobile scaffold towers or ladders where required, full training given within the role which to the right candidate will include IPAF training to achieve a operator licence.

 

You must be actively fit as this can be very physical work.

​

Full PPE and company uniform is supplied.

​

LOCATION: Successful candidate must live within 15 minutes drive of our office in Andover, Hampshire. 

A full UK driving licence and own transport is essential.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

To give the best possible service at the highest standard to our residential and commercial customers to enhance our business.

​

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To learn our processes and setting up of our mobile and van pack pressure washing systems. 

• Adhere and carry out work to ALL HSE requirements.

• Adhere to RAMS as set out for each project and client.

• Working with and operating MEWPs - access platforms. 

• Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of our pressure washing systems and company vehicles.

• Willingness to learn all aspects of the job and have good communication skills with customers and work colleagues.

• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required in the designated territory including some travel to areas outside of our immediate territory.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Any practical / mechanical skills would be useful.

• IPAF licence - 3a & 3b would be useful - (Full training given to the right candidate)

• Good communication skills and the ability to work alone and in a team environment.
